Facilities Tour

You will be assigned lodging at The Fellowship Lodge or one of several other beautiful lodging facilities as described below. Every effort will be extended to match your experiences and interests with others having similar living needs. Please coordinate any questions or comments you may have with your own Alano Society.

The Fellowship Lodge

The “state of the art” five apartment fellowship lodge is available for your group of at least four persons up to eighteen individuals. Each of the nine bedrooms accommodates two persons and has its own ceramic private bath. With in-floor heat and a fireplace room, this facility is designed for your comfortable living through any season. The spacious auditorium and congregate areas open to a one-hundred-foot deck with a beautiful, picturesque view of the lake.

The auditorium and adjacent large kitchen provide the flexibility for use by several groups or as an apartment for a group of four persons. Cable TV and Internet are available in all apartments at this lodge as well as in all other facilities. The fireplace room is appropriate for more informal discussions or quiet time only. All living areas are designed to be large enough to accommodate several persons. All complete apartments have their own kitchen; however, a larger group may prefer congregate dining for each meal or the evening meal only.

The Apartment

This large “home-style” atmosphere provides a more intimate living for eight of your group on the upper floor. Bedrooms are private for no more than two persons. There are two gathering areas as well as a dining room. This facility also includes a separate complete walk-out apartment accommodating four persons.

The Retreat

This is the original Lakeplace lodge. Like the Fellowship Lodge, this facility has a beautiful view overlooking the lake. As many as seven persons can share this four-bedroom more resort-style accommodation.

Bev’s Duplex Home

Named in honor of Bev Medved, who passed away on August 27th, 2021, this facility also overlooks the lake and features apartment-style living with four persons per apartment. Each complete condo has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The combined kitchens and living areas are more than adequate if you have a group of eight.

Joy’s House

This home provides more intimate living for only three persons. This home is named in honor of Joy N., having over thirty-five years helping other alcoholics. Joy passed away in 2014 with forty-three years of continuous sobriety.

The Dee Home
